Why Do I Have less discharge? 10 POINTS BEST ANSWER.?

Ever since I Got the Depot Shots (Birth Control) I haven't been getting regular discharge and every time I Have intercourse, it hurts a lot and it's like kinda dry. I'm 16 and is that normal after having the shots? Please Help me. What can I Do to get regular amount of discharge where I Have No Pain during s*x?

hmmm....and how regular are ur periods?..sometimes witht eh depot shots u could go for months witht a period. but u shouldnt be hurting from intercourse, i assume u fel that it hurts from the lack of lube? u need to ask your doc, about this vaginal dryness, and if it is a side effect, then maybe ur dc could change the type of contraception u use.....either that or go and buy some lubrication.

BC alter amount of  estrogen, so you r dry down there...logical.

That is a side effect of Depot Shots. The best thing you could do to help it from hurting during s*x is to get lube. That sounds so ridiculous for an answer but seriously, that's what will help. I've had friends with the exact same problem and this is how they solved it. I hope this helps!!

ok you should of told your doctor about it immediately so go do that and see what the doctor tells you because it shouldn't be normal

BC can alter your s*x drive, therefore making it dry down there. So invest in some good lube, if this side effect doesn't go away, maybe you can try another type of BC (the pill).
