I think I look ok in person, like when I see myself in the mirror I think Im ok.. But in pictures its terrible. Thats really bad considering Im a music artist and pictures are very important.

Why do I look so different in pictures? Is there anyway to look how I do in pictures the way I see myself?

  2. you only see yourself in a fraction of the angles possible. that's why you may think you look weird. happens to everyone. i'm the opposite though.

  3. same with me, i am not photogenic at all, the thing is, if you really look at anyone in pictures, they eventually start looking weird, like their smile etc, i dont think you can make yourself look any different, unless you changed your real appearance, which is jus stupid, as you said you look ok, remember al the 'celebs' etc cover themselves in makeup, andare under the proper lighting to make them selves look great, when really they dont at all.

    be happy

  4. i get what you mean. when im getting ready to go out and i look in the mirror, ill be happy with what i see but as soon as i see pictures from that night im just like '...what the h**l!' my nose looks like a completely different nose from in real person and my skin looks a compltely different color as well (i dont wear foundation either). its sort of annoying because people dont recognise me, and i dont recognise myself either.

since youre an artist, i recommend getting a professional photographer because theyll use high-tech cameras that make you look exactly how you do in real life. digital cameras that you buy from electronic stores wont give you the same effect.

  5. We see ourselves in a mirror, which is a reverse image, and that is what we are used to seeing.

A picture is not a reverse image, so we look different to ourselves, but not to others.

I'm guessing no one screams and runs away when they see you?

So you probably look just fine, but like most of us, you are overly critical of yourself.
