  1. life happens in cycles...good news is you recognize there is a problem, now all you have to do is come up with a plan and fix this.

I've lived w/ depression for about 8-9 years and it always comes in waves. I've learned to adjust and enjoy the good days and weather the bad.

    May I suggest.

    #1) Cleaning your room.

#2) Start exercising - this will get the endorphins moving in your brain

    #3) Take up a new/fun hobby

You can sit back and let life pass you by, even if doing the above seems awkward at first,,,keep doing it and eventually you'll feel better.

Oh, yeah, and do your homework...I'm sure you're smart!

  2. get a gf they make u do everything :D

  3. Get the computer out of your room.  It sounds like it's creating too much distraction and you're using it as an escape.  Clean your room, do your homework, and you'll feel better because you'll have accomplished something.  Even if your friends have ditched you, there's nothing wrong with making new friends or trying to make amends with your old friends. Get outside more and go out and do things with your friends and make a social life. This will build your self esteem more too.  Be around people who don't judge you but who are good influences in your life.  Things CAN turn around, but you have to put the effort into it.  It won't be easy at first. It may even seem like things aren't changing at all but they will eventually.  It may even take months to see any change but when it happens, you will be happy again.

  4. One of the problems with having a decent social life is the need for cash, invest your time in your education, (better job later on) set your own goals in regard to what needs to get done and as for making your life interesting, cut out any form of addictions as they equal monotony

  5. Get that PC out of your room.  Make is difficult as possible to get to and see someone about getting counseling for depression.  Get at least 10 minutes a day of sun (for the vit. D)  that will help.

Get out more with your friends and don't turn down a chance to go anywhere.

Oh and do your school work with your classmates.  Even if they're the geek of the century try to get someone to study with.

  6. Think about your present situation as wasting time.

The time  you  have now is precious.  You'll never have it again.  Responsibilities increase and free time decreases as you get older, at least up to a point.  Don't waste this time!

Is it your life? You bet it is, to a large extent.  So figure out what you want, and then buck up and get going on getting there.

It may help to write it down.  Also, you can develop steps to get where you want to go.  Then, don't let laziness rob you.  Just do what you should each day.

Social life is never do or die,  That is, how do you ruin it totally? You don't.  You can always begin again, with new friends if necessary.

Make life interesting?  Learn, learn, and learn more.  You'll  never run out of things to learn.  Try to get better at something each day.  Work at it.  Consider it a challenge.

I can speak confidently about all this because it's how I live!
