Why Do People Become More Famous When They Die?

Heath Ledger/2Pac/Aaliyah (list goes on).

just because heath ledger died that new batman film is voted the greatest film ever made on imdm overtaking the godfather (last time i looked anyway).

personally i thought the film was rubbish, i couldn't get into it at all and even though i wasn't a fan of the 1st either i thought the jack nicholson performed 'the joker' better.

but yeah views on the subject.

when famous people die the people tent to go and see what was the big thing about the artist that made him so special. thats why

nah i think Heath's performance in that was brilliant! if he was alive he probably would have won something for it! but true about more famous after death.

People become more famous when they die because people realize what they have lost and find out that their will never be anyone that will ever come close and how good they were at what they did.

You have your opinion about the new Batman movie but Ledger was one of the best actors. Its still your opinion and your entitled to it but I haven't met some one who hasn't liked Ledgers performance of the Joker. I know people who hate the Batman movies and have seen the movie 3 times just because of his performance.
