I live in Chicago and lately I have been noticing that there are a lot of people who are videotaping streets and intersections. I am not really sure as to why they are doing this but I think it may have something to do with fighting a ticket or possibly fixing the pot hole streets does anyone have any insight??

  1. In addition to your rationale, citizens may be gathering evidence to submit to the local government regarding installation of traffic control signals or signs.

  2. Maybe it's google getting their 'street view'. They've got my neighborhood and my house

  3. For them to use in a court case or for evidence that some areas are very dangerous and they are planning to present this to the city......
