Why Do So Many Democrats Hate Alaska?

I have seen so many of you criticizing the State of Alaska? Like you think Alaska is a "lesser" state? Just because it's not huge you want to disrespect it? Whats up with you all?? There are plenty of other states besides yours!

I don't think they hate the STATE itself as much as disrespect it.Most libs are from large city's along the coasts and don't understand what the rest of America is all about. They are out of their element that close to nature. Most libs have never actually touched snow or seen a cow that wasn't already on a plate.

We haven't said anything about hating the STATE. A lot of us don't think your governor is ready to be in charge of the country if something happens to Mccain if the republicans might win. We don't disrespect Alaska because it's small, we just don't think that's enough experience to be the vice president. It has nothing to do with your Alaska or the people in it.

Your ignorance is demonstrated in your question and statement.  What is being explained is that Palin has been Governor of Alaska for less than 2 years.  It's population is less than that of Rhode Island.  Based on the small population, fighting her own party members and limited experience shows that Palin is too green for such an important job.

We don't hate Alaska. Of course not. OBAMA/BIDEN will win and Palin will have time to take care of her 5 children, grandchild, and child-in-law, i mean son-in-law, in the great state of Alaska.

It's a tougher geographical climate that doesn't support undesirables and carpetbaggers - much like the Scandinavian countries.  That's a very big part of why countries like Iceland and Norway can have countless social programs and no military like the democrats like.  Those same over socialized and weak military national approaches have a countless global historical record of failure in warmer, easier climates.

I am a democrat and I have NEVER dissed Alaska. I think it is a fantastic state, and one of the most beautiful I have ever visited, and I have been to quite a few.

I just don't want their governor as vice president. Nothing against the state though.
