Question:

Why Do Some People Try to Act Cool in School?

It happens in nearly every school.

There are:

-The popular people (most will just flirt with the opposite s*x and get a lot of attention for it. It's really easy for them to get a boy/girlfriend)

- The normal people (liked by the popular people, but don't hang out with them. They're not embarrassed to stand up and do stuff in front of others).

- Quiet People (sit quietly in lessons, get embarrassed if picked on in class by the teacher or if someone cool talks to them, so they're not liked very much and it's really hard to get a boy/girlfriend).

- Nerds (picked on by mostly the popular kids, and the other guys are too ashamed to be seen with them. Some feel offended being known as a nerd, whereas others just stick up for themselves).

What do you think you are out of this list and why do the popular people like being the centre of attention? If someone tries to take their attention, they hate you!

  1. lol your American aren't you? well, Im British so I live in London and schools are different here in the UK then in America, we have none of these categories, we all get on with each other there are no nerds etc we're all friends and yes we do have some popular people but their only popular because they have a lot of friends and get on with everyone and are very talkative, they don't flirt with the opposite s*x since I go to an all girls school but even in normal mixed school with boys and girls, all schools in the UK are like mine, trust me its NOTHING like American schools, I kinda pity and feel sorry for American students since they are stuck in a high school with stupid labels so Im glad I go to school in England we're all like a family lol

  2. I understand what you mean, i was in between the normal and quiet people, i didnt fit into either really because I never spoke to the popular people at all and they didnt know who i was, but I wasnt embarassed at all in class, and would do stuff some people might think was weird.

I can think of people who i went to school with who fit into those catagories though.

  3. There's me. Everyone wants to be me. Then comes the populars. I hate no one.
