Why Do Tourists Travel To Australia

Question

Living in Australia, obviously our history is not as long or detailed as other countries and I don't really see why people would come here, as everything to me seems more impressive overseas.

So can you give me some reasons foreigners might travel to Australia.

Why not?? You have a great exciting collection of wildlife. I read about it in socialtravellersite (dot com). Check it out! It made me want to go there and check out the great barrier reef :D

Its not so much about the history, it's the climate and environment. Summers in tropical Queensland are surreal. The idea of this is very attractive to Europeans, especially Brits, who rarely see a clear sky. As someone mentioned before, Australia has the most unique wildlife on the planet, a great deal of the animals here are exclusive to this continent. There's also the Australian Open etc etc. Or simply visit Sydney, a great city in my opinion with some beautiful buildings (QVB, Opera House, Harbour Bridge, St Mary's, The Rocks) and good history. So I think there are a variety of reasons.

umm.. becuz of its beauty! i mean the beaches n all the other stuff! honestly i would love to visit there becuz i think its beautiful in every way possible!

I live in Sydney and the number of reasons people would travel here is too many to list here.
