As there is no indicaation of low battery, just to re assure that batteries are not running low, at times the switches also foul play

if you know batteries are running low you will change the batteries yourself

Do you take the batteries out and roll them in your hands for a bit then put them back in and try it again? Doesn't work, does it!

It's like waving the joypad around when you play video games or ducking when you drive your car under a low bridge. It's dumb but we do it.

I know what you mean. When I am knitting and getting very short of wool and dont think there is enough to finish I start to knit faster and faster.
