  1. It was just the load noise

    no need to worry

  2. Are you saying you gave your hamsters a shower? You are NOT supposed to give hamsters showers. Please dry their fur immediately with dry tissues and never do this again to them.

Hamsters are desert rodents and cannot take to water like some other animals. In fact the water can be dangerous for them since the wet fur can cause flu, pneumonia or other respiratory infections in a hamster.

It is for the same reason that the hamster should never be given bath too. Hamsters are naturally one of the neatest and immaculately groomed animals and there is no necesscity to bath them. It will cause only damage by stripping the hamster fur of its essential oils and leaving it prone to skin infection.

Even if a hamster gets its fur wet in its cage perhaps due to a leaking water bottle or by sitting in its own water dish, the fur should be immediately dried with a clean tissue.

  3. Well hamsters get scared from loud sounds people around them etc.

Don't worry about it they get scared easily.

  4. baths/showers and hamsters DO NOT mix. It can make them very sick...

Hamsters clean themselves. If you are worried about the way it smells there is one option. Pet stores sell scented dust baths for chinchillas. The dust bath for chinchillas can also be used for dwarfs as they have very similar fur. Usually you'll just have to pour some of the dust into a small bowl and plop the hamster down in the middle. Usually they will flip around, dig, and make themselves clean in the dust.

  5. You gave your hamster a shower? Are you serious? Hamsters don't take showers in the wild, so don't give them showers!! Not only will it  scare the hamster p**p out of them for a very bad reason, but they could get pneumonia and die!  Hamsters are at the bottom of the food chain, so they are nervous enough as it is, without some giant scooping them up and nearly drowning them for no reason.
