Why Do the New Orleans Saints Suck?

Question

How come the saints never ever pick up any awesome secondary players. There are alot of teams in the NFL with at least one awesome safety or cornerback, but not the saints. Plus it seems like they dont even try to pick one up. They keep trying to build up their offence by throwing away valuable first round draft picks on players who suck (Reggie Bush, Robert Mecheam), but I do give them cred. for getting a linemen this year. When will they work on that garbage secondary though?

our QB is a dumb Azz he gets sacked almost every play

he cant throw to save his LIFE

my 6 year old girl cuz could throw btr

but ive seen 1 or 2 game of the saints

I wouldn't say they suck... they just need a back up RB that runs threw the tackles or anywhere on the line for that matter becuase (no offense) Reggie isn't that kind of back... and I have a feeling they will trade for a reliable D-back...give them time and they will realize that their D is where improvement is needed and not on an already powerful O

I see a sured up defense with Vilma. The Saints don't need anymore offensive weapons! Dree Brees only has Colston and he manages to have HUGE numbers. Shockey as their TE can help bust holes for Bush.

I agree with you that they need improvement in their secondary however with Vilma lurking as a MLB the secondary can rest a bit easier.

wow you know absouloutley nothing about football and this is probly your first year even watchin football..... ok dude the saints drafted 1 offensive player this year idiot and one o lineman idiot and they also drafted a glen dorsey clone in sedrick ellis and they also got arron glenn and some talent the saints dont even come close to sucking idiot so you gotta check rosters b4 you rant on about how a team sucks........

Yeah I know what you mean.  But look how often safeties and corners get drafted in the first round anyway.  I know some do.  But sometimes its a gamble.   We got Tracy Porter pretty early on.  Don't count them out yet.  Meachem was injured last year with his knee.  He's been impressing the coaches and more importantly Drew Bree's this year at training camp.  Everyday this off season, starting the week after the super bowl, he drove to Patten's house and trained with him and got alot better.  Watch for him tomorrow during the game against Arizona tomorrow.  Reggie Bush, ehhhh.  He'll never be an every down back and should just make the move to a slot receiver.  

But as I said.  Watch for Tracy Porter in the secondary tomorrow, and Meachem on offense. Even Drew Bree's had high praise for him this year.  With Ellis and Vilma also on the D I think we'll be in for a vast improvement from last year.

yea i agree with u they do need blocking tho. i think Dbacks are over rated tho there are great corners that change the game but if u cant rush the QB the WR will eventually get open. so i would work from the inside out with the saints D.

The Saints will win the NFC South this year even if Tampa Bay gets Favre. Brees is the best player in the entire division and he's the third best QB in the league behind Brady and Peyton Manning. The defense is better too and if they can get even average play from the secondary and Deuce can stay healthy for most of the year, then they can at least get to the NFC Championship game like they did two years ago.
