  1. dont listen to the other idiots that answered this question cause they are wrong. it may be partly because of comfort but mostly is because it helps him line up his fingers on the bat.

  2. Comfort

  3. iits a habit

  4. AT LEAST HE DOESNT p**s ON HIS HANDS LIKE MOISES ALOU DOES

outfielder Moises Alou admitted that he often smears his own f***s on his face in order to exfoliate.

ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€ÂœMost people don’t realize it, but if you really want to clear out your pores and have healthy skin, rubbing your p**p on your face is the way to go,” said Alou. “Just be sure to rinse off really well or you’ll have the worst blackheads you’ve ever seen.”

  5. Some people do things like that because its comfortable to him. I remember seing Glaus use his pinky on the nob and the rest of the fingers on the handle.

  6. sometimes its more comfortable for the hitter. moises alou does it too, and when he was with the cubs and hit 40 homers, no one was complaining hehehe(too bad they dont have anyone hitting forty homers right now)

  7. def not the weirdest thing ive seen a major league batter do

guys randomly find things that are comfortable for them, and even though it looks weird it def helps them for whatever reason. he was probably in a slump, tried it in BP or the cages, saw a difference or liked how it felt and just stayed with it.

batters frequently alter their batting stances, but they are usually little minute changes, not putting half your hand over the k**b.
