Why Does My 15 Week Old Kittens Eye Pupils Chage Big To Small??

  2. All pupils will retract when there is plenty of light in the

    area.  

  3. Pupil size in cats is a way that they show emotion. Their eyes pupils may slant if they are annoyed or leary of something, become big if they are calm, etc.  

  4. I think they're just adjusting to the difference in light...don't think there's anything to worry about.  Then too, with her being a kitten, she's going through developmental changes.

  5. Same as any aged cat - it's the amount of light entering the eye.

  6. The eyes of all living things, when they focus and unfocuse, change because the pupils adjust. Like if you hold your hand up next to a mirror then look at your hand then look at the mirror since you're seeing farther your pupils adjust. or it might just be light.

  8. Their pupils change size to compensate for the amount of light there is.  In the dark they are wide open but in bright lights they are slits.

  9. their eyes like ours adjust to the light. if its dark they get bigger, ( too increase amout of light going in) if it light they get smaller (to decrease amout of light).
