Why Does My Phone Number Show Up As Unavailable?

I just got Vonage VOIP and everytime I make a call it shows up on the other persons as UNAVAILABLE! how is that when I didnt even block the number?

if you have VoIP service it takes a couple of days to put your number to their database!

some VoIP provider only take 4-6 hours after activation, but with Vonage it can take days or a week!!

you also can go online-account  (profile) and type in your name and outgoing number, that's the way I did it!

is it a cell phone ? if its a cell phone 9 times outta 10 its gonna say unavailableunless its a house phone somethings wrong and u need to contact that company

Mine does too.  But, my number shows up.  That is just the way it is.

It's hasn't stopped my calls from connecting though.

Say, if someone has unknown or private caller blocking on their phone, your calls still go through.

'Cause it goes through the internet.  I use Skype, and the same thing happens to me

because you had it that way when you ordered it, all you have to do is Star 82 then dial the number........ example,   *82, then dial  1-800-999-1111   then it will show up your name & #.......
