  1. are you giving him any veg? because he shouldn't have any until about 15 weeks.

and is he eating enough alfalfa hay because this is necessary to a bunnies diet.

and with the pellets- is he eating all of it or just the nice bits because you may have to put him on a selective pellet, where al the food and goodness is put into same looking pellets so the bunny doesn't get fussy!!!

  2. first thing are u giving ur rabbit veg like lettuce or cuecumber, thay can cause diarrohea, it could be the change of food, also rabbits tend to eat there faeces (corphaghia) its a natrual behaviour. Rabbit tend to have soft faeces in the morning and this is the one they eat, so it can gather back mineral and bacteria so that it can break down cellouse that plant matter

  3. Well, rabbits have something called midnight stool. They release most of the protein in their p**p, (as they can't digest it properly) then they eat it to gain back the protein. They only produce it in very early morning or very late night. You might have accidentally switched him to a food with to much protein. My rabbit had it to, but it turned out she only had midnight stool.

  4. okay.don't worry.rabbits will normally have diarhea from time to time.

first thing to do is to wipe off the poo from the face.this may be infectious to the rabbit and may cause complications.

    do this:

place the rabbit only on a strict pellet and hay diet for a week.no vegetables, fruits, greens for a week.observe the rabbit if there are any complications in the diet you're currently giving.but normally, this diet places the rabbit back to normal.

of course, there might be a shock with the rabbit when you gave it new foods.this is normal and may be gone after a few days but place it back on a pellet based diet, still.

if the poo is watery, take it immedietely to the vet.this kight be a strong case of seriuos sickness.it might lead to complications and sickness.if the poo is just a soft poo, nothing to worry about it's normal.

take it to the vet if any complication happens.i hope i helped!

  5. He may have coccidia, internal parasites or it was something you fed that he isn't used to. Is he eating hay? Give him lots of grass hay. If it doesn't stop soon, take him to a vet.

  6. Becuase you changed his food and switched it back quickly. You can't do that so fast, they dont get used o it, and they could get sick. Dont switch the food next time :) Its all over his face becuase the cage he is problay in has it all over the base and rabbits dont care where they hop around, so they get it all over his paws and he will start eating it if you dont clean it out. For some rabbits you can litter train them and out a little bastet of litter in the cage. Good luck:)
