Why Does Obama Have More Experience Than Palin?

I want an honest answer. I'm asking Obama supporters to tell me why Obama has more experience than Palin.

Obama has 10 years of political experience while Palin only has 2 years.

He doesn't. Obama has zero executive experience.

Dude, he doesn't.  Nothing in his past has prepared him to lead our country.  Obama has never even been in a situation where he has had to compile a budget or write a paycheck.  Being a senator does not automatically make you a good president.  Being a bad senator, like Obama, shows you are not ready to be a president.

I'm an undecided person but...

Palin has been in higher office as Governor of Alaska for exactly half the time Obama has been in the Senate. She has been Governor of Alaska (population under a million) for 2 years. Before that, she served only two full terms in the City Council, from 1992 to 1996, before running for mayor of Wasilla.

To put this in perspective, Wasilla had a population of only 7,738 people as of 2004. By contrast, as TPM's Eric Kleefeld calculates, Obama's State Senate district had roughly 210,000 people -- about 27 times the number Palin repped in lower office.

Nor has Palin been tested in the grueling arena of national politics. She'll be forced to face off in a debate against Joe Biden, who's been in the Senate nearly 20 times as long as Palin has held higher office; Biden is well known to diplomats in world capitals.

Basically, Palin's experience is equivalent to that of a city mayor.

because they don't understand that participation in partisan agitation activities with people like Alinsky and Ayers doesn't count as positive experience with a significant portion of voters

Why are we comparing Obama to Palin?

Just look at the primaries and now the GE. He's been the most heavily scrutinized candidate (arguably in recent history) and has remained calm, collected, and on message. That's the type of leader that we need.

Palin: 1 year as Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commissioner. Then moved on to serve almost 2 years as governer of Alaska- population 683,478. One of three directors of "Ted Stevens Excellence in Public Service Inc". Lifelong NRA member.

Obama: An additonal 4 years as a U.S. Senator. Senate Committees for Foreign Relations, Environment and Public Works and Veterans' Affairs. Chairman of the Senate's subcommittee on European Affairs. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, and more.

MAJOR POLITICAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Palin: In 2007, pressured lawmakers to get the Alaska Gasoline Inducement Act passed to build a natural gas pipeline to deliver 35 trillion feet of North Slope natural gas to market. ....Alaska's first woman governor.....

Obama: Sponsored over 800 bills to reform healthcare, ethics in washington, veterans benefits and more. Passed a bill that expanded healthcare to over 100,000 people in Illinois.. Passed a bill that set up community health centers to serve underserved populations. Passed a bill that provided the earned income tax credit to thousands of Illinois families. Passed a bill reforming the death penalty that had sent innocent people to death row. Passed a major ethics reform bill that banned excessive gifts from lobbysts. they won't tell you....they never do they just make up some c**p and say Obama is better and **** like that meanwhile she has mroe experance than Obama....

And to the guy who says Obama is more experienced because he "passed" all kinds of bills, that means he voted for them.  He "wrote" zero bills.  Zero.
