Why Does Perfumemania not sell Velocity perfume?

I asked the store person

and i checked online, and i couldn't find it

and when i asked the store person

they just responded automaticly

like they knew without looking

and it wasn't online

btw it is

Velocity by Mary Kay

it smells awesome!

HI! I know youi can find it on Ebay.Com for sure, probbly cheaper then you would find it anywhere else.

Velocity is a fragrance that is sold exclusively by Mary Kay. Perfumania would not (and cannot) sell a fragrance by private companies like Mary Kay and Avon. They don't even sell store-brand fragrances like Victoria's Secret, Abercrombie and Fitch, and Hollister.

The reason is Perfumania is like a Macy's "outlet store." They get the overstock of fragrances from department stores (Macy's, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus) and sell them at a discount rate.

The employee answered you automatically because it's common sense that Perfumania would not sell exclusive fragrances by Mary Kay and Avon ... you'll have to go to the Mary Kay website or find a local representative.

P.S. After working there for more than a year, I too was able to answer questions like that without looking ... you kinda learn the merchandise after a while. They weren't being rude, they probably just knew the store very well.

Maybe because it is too fast....get it....velocity is speed....oh never mind.
