  1. sigmund freud did a study on behaviour such as this and decided it was normal and quite common for children of this age who are developing their own gender awareness do have conflicts or distance themselves from the parent of the same s*x. he attributed this to feeling of jelousness and possessiveness for the parent of the opposite s*x. evenutally children decide it is in their best interest to identify with the same s*x parent rather than compete with them. its perfectly normal and shouldnt last long. the pregnancy most probably has alot to do with this also, just make sure to include her anyway you can and tell her how important she will be to the baby as a big sister.

  2. Dont underestimate a little one!! LOL

She is old enough to see and understand the change you are going thru and is probably feeling a little jealous.

We got a toy for our baby to give to his big bro when he was born and this worked a treat, also when Daddy brings her to see you at the hospital, dont be holding the baby, make a big fuss over Taylor ann and then wait for her to ask to see her new baby. Dont force it, in a few years they will be ganging up on you!! ha ha

  3. It may be that she is feeling left out, with you getting ready for the new baby, and is getting more attention from her dad than she is from you right now. She may also just be closer to him at this point in her life.
