  1. Desi's .... lolll JK

  2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_sa...

  3. save energy and money

  4. Because it doesnt stop.

  5. The saving energy thing is BS.  I just recently read an article that stated it actually costs us more to change the clocks.  It's just the government making sure we know that they are in control of our lives.  Did you know that AZ does not comply with this ridiculous rule?

  6. Does the time change? or do we change the clocks and pretend that the time has changed?

We pretend time has changed for our own convenience.

  7. well - I know the reason why it does not change in Queensland - to disruptive for the farm animals???

Yup can't join the rest of the country working in the daylight to have extra sunlight at the end of the day due to the cows being a bit befuddled over the change in feeding time..... I don't think we will ever become corporate ;-)

  8. It started in war time to extend the daylight hours later into the evening so as to conserve energy and allow defense workers (who worked long hours at plants that often ran three shifts 24 hours a day)  to get home while it was light.

People liked having that time, and so the tradition stayed with us. This year, the president changed the date of the time change to save energy, once more.
