Why Doesn't Sarah Palin Tell It Like It IS?

CBS News compiled a list of errors in Sarah Palin's speech at the Republican Convention. One glaring error was her advice about concern for Special Needs Children. In truth, Mrs. Palin cut funding for Special Needs Children by 62% while Governor of Alaska. Some of the errors concerned Barack Obama, whom she said had not compiled any legislation in his political life. In truth, Barack Obama compiled many bills that passed, including Ethics Reform in Illinois and Ethics Reform in the U.S. Congress. Palin also stated that she did not approve the Bridge to Nowhere, but actually supported it and even gave an interview to the Media about her approval. She claims to be against earmarks, but has gotten earmark money for the town where she was a Mayor and other Federal money. There are more errors in the speech she gave, and it makes one wonder why she is telling things that are so easily checked up on. My question is....did anyone else notice these errors? Were they intentional or just mistakes, since she rewrote the speech several times?

     Can't say that I noticed these "issues", but it makes no sense that KNOWING full well everything she would say would be put under a microscope I seriously doubt she would have risked compromising her position.

     I do know that CBS is totally anti-Palin though and have refused to acknowledge some of the more positive elements resulting from her introduction.   MSNBC is another one................all these so called news medias can do is find ANYTHING to bash Palin on.   Their SCARED.

Typical Republican rhetoric. They have always hurt the poor and disabled. Now that she has a special needs child of her own, maybe she conveniently forgets how she's treated other special needs kids who don't have rich parents to foot the bill.

She probably didn't think anyone would catch these, uh, errors.

why doesn't obama tell it like it is.. starting with what the heellll he means by hope and change........FISA and why he flip flopped and all the other flip flops like change and new style of politicians followed by biden whose as old style as one can get hmmm.........I wonder

It's called spin.  basically people can say anything they want to.  It is up to an intelligent constituency to check into these people who want to represent us.  we cannot leave it up to conventions or headlines or the pundits on TV, which is what too many people do.   that's why we are in the deep doodoo mess right now and for the past 8 years...

I have a special needs child and I am appalled that this woman isn't giving her child her full attention.  It's so easy to let nannies do everything.  This baby may not need her now but when he/she gets older it becomes much harder on them.  You have to spend the time with them so you can get to know your child and what they need.  Go home and take care of your children.  You obviously did not communicate with your 17 year old about having s*x.  Abstinence is BS.  My daughter is 17 and on the pill and using condoms.  This is reality.  Stop living in denial.

All statistics are lies, remember that.  Govt constantly claims to have increased and decreased funding for the same thing.  



Look, obama has been a senator for about two minutes,  you know what they mean.  She said meaningful legislation, not legislation.  

Even if she got a couple minor facts wrong, That doesnt add up to not telling it like it is.  You should be quiet.
