Why Don't you Drink/Smoke?

Personally, the stuff is expensive, and I can't stand the smell or taste of it. So what about you, my fellow Yahooligans?

they are only trying to look "cool"

but it tastes rotten and doesnt make you look cool

Smoking cigarettes is foolish.   I love drinking.  People have been doing it for millennia.   In moderation, there have been well-documented health studies seen in wine and beer (i haven't read anything on straight liquor - and when i say beer...i mean real beer, not Coors Light).    

If you don't like it, don't drink it.   But fine wines and beers are a delicacy on my tongue.

Personally, I don't drink very much because it makes me loathe smoking the next day.  I can't think of anything worse than the taste and smell of a cigarette when I have a hangover.  So thats why I don't drink, because I absolutely love to smoke, all day everyday.

well I drink because it's fun and tastes good but I don't smoke cigarettes because I find them disgusting and have known many people who've died from lung cancer and emphysema.

Smoking is disgusting, harms you and others near you.  there is no benefits.

Drinking is fun, can allow you to enjoy yourself and others more, and can taste very good.

I can see your view of it being expensive in general, but as for you don't like the tast of drinks, you havn't been exposed to the correct drinks.  I don't like beer myself, but hard ciders, and mixxed drinks are amazing!  Mararitas rock!

I don't smoke because I have Asthma, and the one puff of the one cigerette I've ever had was absolutly disgusting!

I do like the occassional beer or Brandy though, simply because I enjoy the taste. so it can be said that my habits or lack thereof are controlled by my sense of taste. which will be dulled as I age. HMMM. Cheers

I don't drink because I came down with sleep apnea and it supposedly makes it worse

Don't smoke because I'm old enough to have to worry about heart attacks and cancer but I really miss it sometimes

Well !  I don`t prefer it ...

I am 15 . My friends drink !

I think itz waste to have it beacuse if we have it we aren`t going

to gain ..anything ,instead we`d get loss !

You know why people drink or smoke ,

1. For show-off     2. Its their habit     3. For taste

Once if you like the taste means ...you`re gonna e fond of it !
