  1. well, i guess you know the saying "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" maybe 1 serving is good enough. just have a balanced diet. use the food pyramid as a guide.


  2. we all need to have 5 a day regardless of age, but getting the early start as a child and young adult gets them started in the right direction for a healthy body. Much easier to start out healthy than try to reverse it years later after damage is done

  3. 3 fruits and 2 - 2cup servings of veggies ( at least  more won't hurt ).    Teens ( and everyone ) need the vitamins, minerals, fiber and the natural sugar that fruits and veggies provide.
