Why HUNGER STRIKE against India On 13 july in Spain Europe?

We two spanish NGO member will be on hunger strike protesting against INDIA because HARIDWAR government has violated human rights of more than 1200 children and has taken with violence and ilegally our NGO land in Jagjeetpur,Kankhal Haridwar Uttarakhand. We will continue worldwide and indefinatelly until India give our resources back.

I think that similar questions have been posted in Yahoo! India Answers on more than one occasion earlier. In your present question, I would first like to point out a factual error. There is a Government of India and also a government of the state of Uttarakhand, where the Haridwar district, Haridwar sub division and the town of Haridwar are situated. There is no government of Haridwar as stated in your question. The District Magistrate and the Sub Divisional Officer are the administrative heads of Haridwar district and Haridwar sub division respectively. Haridwar town has its local administration, the Nagar Palika Parishad, headed by a chairman.

Coming to your question, you claim that your (NGO's) land was forcibly and illegally taken away by the Haridwar administration. If that be so, has any case against the administration been filed by you in a court of law? Different government departments in India are well known for their high handedness and it would not come as a surprise if the administration arbitrarily seized your land supporting a project for 1200 children as claimed by you. If the administration's action is indeed illegal and you have consulted experinced lawyers regarding this aspect, you should have rightly filed a case in court against the official or department responsible for the same. It is not clear from your question as to whether you have done that or not and if yes, then with what results.

Hunger strike is a very effective way of non violent protest. It has been espoused by no less than Mahatma Gandhi, the great Indian national leader. It invites the right attention and also effective action and justice against official high handedness and injustice. I am sure that your effort will get the desired result and your land, if illegally grabbed by the Haridwar administration, will be returned to you.
