James Clement was the Collingwood player ,involved in a controversial Preliminary Final ,boundary line incident, which resulting in a FREE KICK to Geelong's Mooney.

The RESULT of this incident is now MASSIVE,...... a GOAL, Geelong, REGAINING the LEAD, WINNING the game by 5pts, a GRAND FINAL BERTH, Clement quits the game.

James Clement, is one of the games most decorated defenders with multiple Copeland trophpy and all Australian honors, has now quit Collingwood. This now has to be one of the most pointed protest's in the history of the game , to AFL leaders that their rules, and the game generally is flawed and unfair.

If Clement had held onto the ball, he is penalised, he got rid of it, and was still penalised, for deliberate out of bounds, with disastrous consequences resulting in a goal, the lead and a grand final , no wonder he has QUIT!

  1. He quit because he felt so guilty about his teams unfair concessions from the AFL, like never having to travel.

Oh, and because his teams supporters are a bunch of whinging tools.

Also, good teams don`t get beaten by the wooden spooners late in the season.

  2. Good one..... Richo-Fev.

  3. Richo Fev, you hit it right on spot. You should win the 10 points.

  4. He was sick of the embarrassment !!!!

Oh .... and what Richo Fev said ...

  5. omg, I havent heard that news yet :(((

totally agree, either way would have resulted in him being penalised - these rules are getting out of hand..

Still, I cant believe that is the reason he quit..I'm hoping its just a rumor (like the one about Buckley delaring retirement straight after the siren..hmmm)

  6. So strauchnie can get a game. go number 59

  7. DEEDUBYA,as a usual rational and knowledgeable football person on here your rants are becoming a JOKE,mate that was as deliberate as it gets and he was rightly penalised and yes if he layed on the footy he would have got pinged for holding the ball but he also could have knocked it back or through the points or back into play ,it was his choice and he f@#ked up simple as that,on his retirement i heard today it was actually due to a family issue (just what i heard) i doubt a professional footballer would throw his career away because of 1 mistake he made, dubya calm down mate and quit these ridiculous rants and get your head out of the black and white clouds-YOU LOST SIMPLE AS THAT better luck next decade.
