Why Has The Dems, And The World Gone Gaga For Obama?

I read his book "Dreams From My Father" and I saw a delusional, racist, whiney kid snivelling about his life, and how terrible it was (despite all the nice white people giving him a free ride). The only real job he ever held was scooping ice cream at Baskin Robbins, and now he hates ice cream. He threw his entire white family under a bus in the book (the people who raised him) and instead sought out the toughest black community he could find (LA, and NY didn't cut it) so that he could find his people. I think he is a very neurotic person to have had so many issues. He seemed filled with hate, and has dreams of payback for all the percieved wrongs committed by whitey. Yet, the media, the Dems, and most of the world now see him as some kind of messiah. What gives?

First, he's ultra liberal, some would say leftist.  Second, he's made speeches talking about the USA needs to be a better world citizen.  The loudest applause he got in Berlin was when he spoke about the USA's failings.  The world at large sees him as someone who will take the USA down a peg or two.  Obama's legislation currently working its way through Congress, The Global Poverty Act, is a re-distribution of wealth from the USA to the United Nations.  The tenor of current Obama speeches doesn't play along these lines because he has been made aware the states he needs to be elected (Bible and gun clingers) don't accept the "we are the world" notions.

actually the world hasnt gone ga ga, just the media and THEY want to make Obama look like a rock star which is fine. No one wants a rock star as a president

It's beyond me.  I guess I can understand black people voting for him, and the rest of the world loves him because he's a socialist, but I don't get how he can be a serious candidate.

Bitterness has replaced their political savvy.

In Obama's case, being dark skinned & the product of an inter-racial relationship had to be hard for him so he sort out people who looked like him & being in Chicago, that was the black community. To their credit, he was accepted and there's nothing wrong with being accepted especially for a child.

I think he's a horrible choice, not a black or white thing but a green thing: he's too green (no experience).

They media is terrified of offending blacks and being accused of racism. Most AA don’t seem to care if he had to cheat to get the nomination. Everytime I try to talk to them about voting fraud or about Obama’s shady actions, they tell me they don’t want to hear it, or White people have done things in the past, so who cares.

Oprahs protegee is a combination of brains and dangerous street smarts.  I hope people will learn to see beyond his liberal facade.

His weakness and the fact that he's a whiny appeaser.  

Europe and also any enemy we have around the world would love to see him in office.  They want a weakened U.S.A. and know that Obama is their 'man'.  

The Dems because he's made nothing but promises at the expense of the 'rich' folks.  Buzz words that they lap up like dehydrated dogs.  

This guy is an empty suit, a bitter whiner, a street-smart typical politician filled with shady characters that he continually throws under the bus when they come to light.
