Why I can't find a job in Ottawa?

I move here 9 months ago from Toronto. I'm a dental assistant level 1. I've been searching for long. I'm getting frustrated and stressed I did not earn anything. Even just to work at the grocery store I cannot get it. I live half an hour from Ottawa. It's Kemptville are. I've just heard that healthcare is not really in demand in Ottawa. Is that true? I just want to earn money and help my husband and save money for a house and build a family. Yeah, I'm getting frustrated here.

well Im not sure on the job situations in ottawa I kinda find that hard to believe though are you looking in only one area of work or are you freely exploring many venues?  If all else fails come here to alberta work is everywhere although housing is expensive my advice to you if you decided to come out west is to come with friends and rent a place jointly or if the option is there stay with family

you may be over or under qualified meaning too much or not enough education. a lot of places are not hiring people with Ph.D's (i don't know if this applys to you or not) so they can't even get entry level jobs.  it sucks

I am professional development and humanitarian worker with educational background on project management (Bachelors and Masters in Agricultural Economics). I would like to get job related to environment, agriculture and rural development but couldn't get job. Any help?
