  1. s***w taxes everybody... let's overthrow the government and and smoke all day.

  2. And what happens if you fall ill, you get free NHS treatment, paid for out of taxes.

  3. Some of your 22% pays for the police force - who stop other people taking 100% of your money....

  4. Yeah after you've paid for using all the conveniences of every day life provided by income tax.

  5. Income tax (and NI contributions) are used to pay for schools, the police, NHS etc but if the govt. didn't waste BILLIONS OF POUNDS of OUR money EVERY YEAR on Africa, asylum seekers, luxuries for prisoners, benefits for foreigners and layabouts, nonsense jobs like g*y L*****n Bisexual Transgender Assessment Co-ordination Supervisors, and all the other numerous c**p then we could have lower income tax of around 10%! Let's not forget also that everything you buy you pay tax on too from bread to houses! We must be the most taxed people on earth. We pay for prescriptions etc but foreigners and prisoners get them for free! It's immoral but until we get someone in power who stops all this waste we are stuck with multiple taxes Im afraid!!

  6. you sure can.but you will have to do without state funded bodies like-nhs/schools/defence/social scurirty.ect ect.need i say any more.

  7. No everyone pays tax at some point, and think of those that pay 40 percent tax like my partner, and he wasn't on a massive salary just an ordinary guy doing a difficult job.

we are overly taxed in UK, because much of is is behind the back stealth tax that often you don't even know about. And this is only going to worse.

  8. Did you ask this question a couple of weeks ago? Or was that someone else? Anyway, you're forgetting about public services, roads, emergency services, healthcare, etc etc. Or would you prefer to be charged for your ambulance and emergency operation, should you ever be unfortunate enough to you need it, like in the States? (Speaking from bitter experience, having lived there for a few years - my mother broke her leg and was sent a $200 bill for the ambulance which her health insurance refused to fork out for.)

  9. Tax pays for NHS, benefits, trains, transports, help for immigrants and asylum seekers

  10. You gotta war to pay for...did you think the government was gonna protect your freedom for nothing?

  11. Well Council Tax covers the Police Force and Fire Service.. National insurance and Tobacco/Alcohol duty covers The NHS.. Fuel Duty and Road Tax covers Transport and roads costs. So what does income tax pay for. TV`s and jewelry for Immigrants and beer for dole dossers thats what.. oh and helicopter trips for royals and pay rises for MP`s etc.. etc..

  12. i might be wrong but isnt it 20% and 40%

    instead of 10%22%40%

if everybody didnt pay tax you pay everything

police fire ambulance streets education etc

  13. Do you want your streets cleaned, your rubbish taken away?  When you get sick, do you want to go to hospital or sit at home waiting to get better or die?  Would you like your children to go to school or roam the streets?  Oh and what would you like to do with criminals - do you want them in prisons or them, too, roaming the streets?

  14. Yeah man! Feminists! bleurgh! liberals boo HISS blah!

    what what in the butt?

    what what in the butt?

    ABORT! ABORT!

  15. You didn't say what country you live in but if you're in North America you are defended by a large military, you have tens of thousands of miles of roads to drive on, you have a sophisticated legal system and when you call 911 a lot of large expensive fire trucks will come racing to your door, manned by well-trained professionals. Who do you think pays for all this?

  16. Yes of course everyone has to pay tax else as everyone else has said how would you like to pay for everything yourself. The only thing I'd like to see changed is, I think it should be taken into account the amount of hours you have to work to get the money you are earning that would be a fairer system. Of course you'd have to prove it but what the heck there's no problem there if you are legitimate. I know myself 13 years ago when I was working all the hours under the sun working 2 jobs as many of you do too, just to survive no luxuries. If the tax man had have taken into consideration the hours & days a week I was working I'm sure it would have been a great comfort to me. If you know what I mean.

  17. All kinds of services are provided by "the government" and of course that happens to be us.  Since nothing is really free the cost of those services have to come from somewhere and the is where taxes come in.  At the end of the year when you figure out   and file your taxes with the IRS you may find that you will get a lot of what you paid back.  That means that your actual tax rate will be lower.  Don't feel bad we all have to pay something.

  18. Public services i.e. government, police, councils, hospitals, schools etc.

I assume u do not need any of these services?

  19. Because the goverment paid for youre education and quality of life someone needs to pay back the money to keep using it for future generation.

  20. I think we should not pay suck a high tax amount!

its 24% and 40% if you earn over £36000 a year!!

also you pay NI on top!!!(which will also go up)

Oh and the politicians can spend up tp £250 of your and my money without producing a reciept!

mate this country is full of james blunts!

Police never do thier jobs! They are corrupt as much as the bureau crats!

  21. We are a highly overtaxed nation.

It sucks but what can we do other than accept it or revolt !
