Question:

Why I land my kickflip upside down?

Whenever I try to kickflip I always land on the trucks instead of the griptape. I've tried popping harder and flicking harder and faster, but I still land on the trucks. What should I do?

  1. you might not be waiting for the board to pop so you aren't getting enough height in your kick flips. also try puting your front foot a little farther back because that will help it spin a little faster when you flick

  2. try flicking your foot out not downtends to make the board rotate for a lesser time

  3. Maybe try doing it off a high ledge (like 1 foot or a curb) then ollie off it and then pop a kickflip. That gives you more time to flip harder and faster then a normal ollie. Otherwise keep trying to ollie higher then you can let it flip before it lands. It's only like 2 -5 seconds (depending on the ollie hieght) But it works to get used to it.
