Why I waiting too long for naturalization interview

I and my wife sending the N-400 at the same time , but my wife passed the interview ,got the oath ceremony and became US citizen , but I still waiting for interview appointment , how I can asking about

my case ( I waiting for interview appointment for 8 month ago )

Call them with your case no and receipt to find out what is going on. Most likely, they are still waiting for the FBI to complete the background check on you, that is the cause of a lot of delays for male applicants. But call to make sure they did not just lose your file or you did not get the letter

make sure you are not waiting longer than a year because they will close your case and deny your application.  call this number 1-800-375-5283 or go to this site:  http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis and enter your Case Number in the bottom right side of the page.  Hope this helps a little.
