  1. FIRST OF WIKIPEDIA IS NOT A RELIABLE SOURCE BECAUSE ANY KNUCKLE HEAD CAN POST UP INFO. EVEN IF IT'S CORRECT IT STILL DOES NOT COUNT. NOT SAYING YOUR QUESTION DOESNT COUNT. BUT WHAT DOESNT COUNT IS IS THE CONTEX OF THE WORD ILLEGAL THE NEGATIVE MESSAGE. WHEN I HEAR THE WORD ILLEGAL I THINK ILLEAL DRUGS, s*x, ETC... SO R THESE PEOPLE CONSUMING THSES THINGS? POSSIBLY. ARE THEY NOT? POSSIBLY. SO THIS IS THE NEGATIVE FEELING THAT THIS WORD HAS. Y DO U HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE BORN IN THE US? CAUSE UR PARENTS R CITIZENS. WELL EVERY BODY WAS ILLEGAL AT SOME POINT (EUROPEAN ANSESTORS) JUST BECAUSE THEY CAME HERE AND F.U.C.K.E.D OVER THE NATIVES, IS THAT LEGAL. WHAT IS LEGAL? RIGHT , CORRECT ETC.. SO THIS IS JUST UR POINT OF VIEW. WHAT IF U WERE BORN IN A DIFFRENT COUNRTY Y WOULD U WANT A VISA WHEN U CAN A A CITIZENSHIP? HOW IS THAT MAKING SENSE? HONESTLY I CAN CONTINUE ARUGING THIS. I TOUCHED ON THESE POINTS VAGULY TO leve it an open ended disscussion.----- TO THE PERSON WHO SAID IT BOTHER ME WHEN THEY COMMITE CRIMES IN THIS COUNTRY. OKAY BUSH COMMITS CRIMES ALL THE TIME. HE SHOULD BE BAND FROM OFFICE SO DID d**k CHANYE. SO HOW R U COMPARING A CRIM THAT HARMS MUNICIPAL AREAS WHERE AS TO A CRIME THAT HARMS US AS A NATION WHICH ONE IS BIGGER? DOES THAT BOTHER U MAYBE. BUT WHO CARES

  2. For the same reason your ancestors had those exact same rights!!

  3. It is obvious isn't it? Anyone born in the U.S reserve the right as any other citizen born in the U.S.

  4. It's in the bill of rights. If a person is born in the United States, then they are automatically a US citizen, regardless of where their parents are from.

  5. Gee, a guy named Cesar in favor if illegal criminal invasion, that's a real shocker LOL.

Don't listen to uneducated people who tell you there is nothing wrong with illegal immigration, it's called illegal for a reason. These criminals need to be treated as what they are, criminals.

The Europeans broke no laws when they settled the U.S., the Europeans made laws that make this nation great and that illegal Mexicans want to turn into a c**p hole.

  6. This needs to be changed   now..

  7. Same reason you do- they were born here. In this country, we don't punish children for their parents crimes.

  8. Because US law states if you are born on US soil  you are a US citizen....

  9. Because the USA has very lax immigration laws when it comes to Citizenship through birth, which is why so many people try to come to the USA to have ancjhor babies... I most Europeam countries it is not enough to be born there, one of your parents must also have some kind of legal status in that country for the child to gain citizenship.

  10. A huge number of people are born here from many walks of life.  None of them are granted citizenship unless one, or the other of the parents is a U.S. Citizen subject to its laws.  Diplomats, visitors, illegal aliens, are not subject to our laws and by the 14th Amendment and the Constitution itself, they are not granted citizenship status.

Anchor babies belong to women who have gotten pregnant and come over for the specific purpose of gaining citizenship for their child, and hope they will be allowed to stay after the child is born.  That always means... that always means... they are on welfare and the American Taxpayers do NOT want them on welfare, nor provided anything the diplomats are provided.

  11. illegal citizens is what I call them. that really bothers me how they come into this country and commit crimes.

  12. They should have no rights

  13. They should have no rights what so ever!!!!! The child should take the citizenship of the mother, if she is illegal, then so is the child!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. ANYONE BORN IN THE U.S = A U.S. CITIZEN

  15. It states it clearly in the Constitution.  It is not up for debate.  The founding fathers layed the question to rest, in that document.

  16. Anyone born in the U.S. is a citizen...that seems simple enough to understand.

  17. They actually don't have to, the Supreme Court has not ruled on it:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anchor_baby

"The Supreme Court has never explicitly ruled on whether children born in the United States to illegal immigrant parents are entitled to birthright citizenship via the Fourteenth Amendment,[7], it has generally been assumed that they are.[8]"

  18. You answered your own question: because they are born here! you were born here, don't you deserve to be citizen? they are not guilty that their parents are messed up and try to give a birth to them just to be legal here.
