I admit they were poor in Sri Lanka series. But that doesn't mean you abuse them by saying old f**s.Media forgets That Had not been Sachin Tendulkar, India would not have won CB series in Australia.Dravid has given us so many victories and so is Ganguly and Laxman.Dhoni has done so little and Yet he is touted as bigger star Of Indian Cricket.

  1. it is veru reasonable

they are not like indian public who burn crickters effigys

    lol

  2. Indian media IS NOT playing a positive or a constructive role regarding this issue. Actually, now, the general belief is that seniors aren't good for anything, and MS Dhoni's support to this theory has furthur strengthened the belief. The hype about Dhoni is at it's peak, and media as always goes with the flow, rather than putting forth an independent viewpoint. Since Dhoni is the media favourite, they chose to support Dhoni's opinion. The objective is to catch public attention-Indian media speaks only that what the public wants to hear. And now, the people wants to hear all that is against the seniors. Accordingly, the media is abusing the same players they once used to glorify. This suggests the erratic nature of Indian media.

On account of their recent poor form, Sachin, Sourav, Dravid and Laxman are being termed "useless burden on the team". But this is definitely NOT the correct atitude. In the attempt to humiliate these legendary great players, Indian media, and public forgets their contributions to Indian cricket. Had it not been for these cricketers, Indian cricket wouldn't have been where it is today. Dhoni may be getting short term successes with his team, but the current Indian team is the fruit of Ganguly's work as the captain, and it was Sachin who contributed the most for the CB series victory.

I can understand the resentment that the Indian fans are having on account of the continuos poor performance of the seniors, but every player can go through a bad form once in a while in their career. In such situations, the true fans would always be by their side, and encourage them, instead of subjecting them to bitter criticisms. These players are already under considerable psychological stress, and such criticisms affects their morale, and performance even furthur.

  3. Because they not performing well and India will lose the test series.

  4. So you want these seniors to continue in the same fashion & India go on losing matches keeping in mind that they played well in the past & should be retained in the team irrespective of the result [lose]. No, my dear you are wrong & please change your view. You see you'll not find most of these seniors in the next series i.e. Australian series.

  5. See, the Indian seniors are really not performing! They are not making use of the opportunities/chances they are getting!!!! Agreed that performance has nothing to do with age, but they are totally not upto the mark! They didn't perform in the 1st test (both the innings)...but that was ok, one more chance could be given to them, they again didn't perform in the second test (India won the 2nd test bcoz of Bhajji & Viru)....it was dissappointing but still we could give them one more chance....but again the seniors repeated the same history in the 1st innings of the 3rd test....now, it's actually very very disappointing. They 've got experience, they 've got talent then why aren't they performing.....But i 've to agree that the media shouldn't abuse them by calling them old f**s!!! They are legendary players and they should be respected for all their contributions to the cricketing world!

  6. just to take attention

  7. Bcoz they are duty is criticizing...LOL

  8. becoz they have right to critcize when those old players ruining indian cricket

  9. media is'nt against or favour of anybody........they just show what is spicy........what ever the people will watch with delight or anger , the media will show that.............they r behind money
