Its only 40 bucks because its a kids game. Look at the games that are 40 bucks Viva Pinata, and others idk don't really play kids game more into Rainbow 6 and Gears. But its only 40 bucks cuz its a kids game.

Not all current-gen games are going to be $50+ on release.  Particularly since the game is geared towards younger gamers, the manufacturers would want to make it cheap enough so that when little Jimmy points at it and goes "Buy it Mommy, or I'll never stop crying!", Mommy would be more likely to buy it at a $40 price point then if it was $50.
