Why Is My Dad?

so f**king LAZY!? i mean come on he doesnt do anything but stay in bed all day and he makes everybody do stuff for him like pouring him something to drink and when you do it he will come and stand there while your pouring it and im like WTF why couldnt he just do it and he doesnt leave the house and when he does have to go somewhere he gets mad and talks c**p about it. what should i do? cause im sick of him being lazy

He sounds depressed! call a doctor and make him and appointment, or maybe the doctor will give you a prescription to give him! Maybe he just needs someone to talk to him. Just let him know you are there for him, talk to him about something that means a lot to you and he will realize you trust him and he has some one to live for. Also talk to him about what he does, but don't be mean about it just bring it up, that its not fair that you have to do it when there is no reason he isn't perfectly capable of doing it himself. Maybe he sees how lazy you are and wants you to learn some responsibility.  Who pays the house payments so you have a place to sleep?  Who provides the money for the food for you to eat? Is there a reason why your Dad is in his room all day?  Is he handicapped?  Instead of running your dirty mouth, try a little understanding, and be grateful for what you have.

my mom is lazy, but at least she pours herself her own drink.  but she decides to sit on the couch all day and scream at us from opposite ends of the house and make us do the things that she just doesn't want to do or is too lazy to get up and do herself.  it's annoying.

Full moon obviously he isn't old enough to move out or else he wouldn't be complaining, geez why is everyone on this website so idiotic?

Also you can make your dad stop being a lazy pile by ignoring him and making him get up and do sh*t himself.

You didn't say who this man was.  Is it your dad, step dad or just who is it.  We could help you more if we knew who the lazy bum was.

Who ever it is, tell them to poor their on drinks and do for himself instead of being so lazy.  Let him know that you will no longer be at his beacon

call and to get use to it.

Don't stand around for him to yell at you either.  When he starts his complaining, just walk away and go to your room and lock the door or put a chair under the door k**b.

Don't take this type of abuse off of him.  He does not deserve to be waited on nor does he deserve you standing around listening to his complaining and getting mad.  

You cannot talk with this type of person because all he thinks about his himself.
