Why Is My FiOS Unreliable?

I use a wireless connection on my laptop but lately it keeps disconnecting. I have to repair my connection or toggle the receiver on and off to get it to work again. lately it has been getting worse to the point that I have to reset my laptop and this afternoon I could not get it to work for an hour. I don't actually use the connection on the router but I use a wired connection into a signal booster. The booster in Net-N and improved my speed but it is still so unreliable. I want to know if there is something I might be doing wrong or other environmental factors that might be causing my woes. Also if there is software I can buy or download to help please tell me. I cannot switch to a new provider because I still have a year on my contract.

Most likely this isn't even FIOS's problem, you're just loosing a connection between your laptop and your router. The internet connection is still reaching your router, but not going any further.
