Why Is My Internet Slower?! Plzzzzz help!?

I got a wireless router but i downloaded some programs on my computer from web sites and now its slow so i deleted all the programs and its still slow, how can i make it faster?

un-neccesarily you have deleted the programs, your computer registry is infected please clean it.

use AVAST Antivirus it is free and real time scanner update its data base before doing a BOOT Scan

Secondly use Glary utilities update its database and do the scan for malware spyware and hidden trojans

both are free software and can be downloaded from www.download.com

the programs are not a variable...ur connection is probably an ancient fiber-optic....you need a 56k dial-up connection and use aol as a provider

Make sure that you aren't losing packets on the way to your computer. Wireless connections tend to drop packets. To check how many packets you sent and got, double click on the little computer icon in your system tray. If the number of packets are about the same, give or take a 1000 packets, then your internet connection is fine. If the number of packets sent greatly exceeds the number of received, then that may be a cause of your internet connection. However, I do not know how to fix that. Also check for spyware and viruses that may lead to a slower internet connection. I recommend AVG Free Version 8.0 and Spybot Search and Destroy. Both are free and both are reliable. You can also contact your ISP for troubleshooting tips. Hope this helps!
