5 dollars foot log sub expensive? wow. that's what they are where I live. I get a foot long of a healthier choice of food, less grams of fat etc? worth it to me. we eat there 3 times a week

because it is HEALTHIER than other fast food places, but still not as good as something you can make at home :]  they probably use fresher ingredients and make the sanwhich in front of you, showing you what going on and what theyre putting in it.

LOL! What makes subway healthy? And how do you know there ingredients are fresh? They  can tell you anything to get a dollar. There sandwiches are composed of bread, meat, cheese, veggies, and condiments, just like the fast food joints. Also, fast food can be made to your specifications...hello? have it your way at burger king! lol.  I personally don't think they're expensive though, it depends on what sandwich you order.
