  1. Thats a funny statement to make, I used to live in the UK and don't feel its any more humid there than a lot of other places globally. I once went to Los Angeles, once I stepped out into the street, the humidity there hit me like a wall. I also now live in Spain and despite living in an area that is classified desert, i.e. is very dry, it can get very humid at times, so much so that even sitting still causes much perspiring.

    Don't forget. the Uk is a small island with water all around and mot a great deal of distance between any place and the sea, this will add to the humidity factor

  2. It's really not. Try Florida or Texas if you want real humidity. The air is really fresh here

  3. It's the umbrella makers somewhere in the Orient who are trying to drum up some business for themselves.

    "Buy japanese umbrellas", Mr. Weather seems to say;

  4. we have the sea all round and the gulf steam before the prevailing wind direction

    but the tropics is more humid

  5. because its a piece of real estate floating in water surrounded by water ,it cant help being humid

    Brittain is dry compared to that .

  7. cos of the gulf stream

  8. Just like God intended it to be.
