You know the USA Team doesn't need a player that always have a hot head and get a technical foul. The USA players should play clean not dirty basketball just like Sheed. That's why Colangelo and Coach K didn't choose him because of his attitudes in the court. Rasheed doesn't fit to play for the USA teams, he need to change his attitude first before he can carry the flag of the America in the Olympics.

He wasn't one of the 30 guys who made a commitment to the team in 2006.  The entire olympic team comes from that 30 player pool

Coach K is prejudiced against former UNC players.  You've gotta be asking yourself, why did Carlos Boozer make the team?

A. He's wildly inconsistent, and not as good as Howard, Bosh, or Boozer even when he's on his game.

B. He doesn't exactly fit with the Team USA's philosophy on winning with class and focus.

C. He would be playing center in international play, and he's voiced how he disliked playing the position in the past.

D. He likely wouldn't have made the three year commitment three years ago even if they HAD wanted him.

In the Olympics you want players who conduct themselves with class and have self control. He would be an embarrassment with all his whining and crying. International refs would throw him out in the first minutes of games. His roster spot would be a waste.
