Why Jewish people don't eat pork?

  1. It is supposed to be unclean,I think the idea may have been born from fear of getting sick. Anyway it ended up as a religious law so it is part of their faith.  To the answer above me,i'm glad to hear some Jewish folks enjoy bacon and ham. I never knew any did.

    Only religious Jewish people, people who keep kosher or just people who follow Jewish tradition don't eat pork because it says not to in the holy scriptures.  However, I eat bacon and ham and I love it.  I do not keep kosher.  In Israel today, pork can be found in some grocery stores and in most non-kosher restaurants.

  4. they share the same Idea as Muslims in the fact that pork isn't kosher, there4 its forbidden to eat

  5. I am not sure but I do know The Bible says not to eat an animal of a split hoof maybe that's why.
