  1. Lewis just proved he is better than Antony Hamilton when it comes to crashing.

however he  (along with Nico Rosberg) will  be starting 10 places down in the grid next time round

Kubica needs to thank Hamilton, he took himself out with Kimi and I don't know what happened with Massa's first pitstop (I saw him coming behind Kimi into pit, But he pitted again in the next lap, in 19th & 21st laps). The possible podium finishers being messed up in  the pit, there is no stopping the BMW's (Heikki is just lucky to be in a McLaren, since Lewis don't like competition from within the team). Heidfeld's one stop run was superb, and he held off (in the middle stages)  Alonso (before crashing out) and allowed Kubica to have a smooth run, and a sizeable gap between himself and Kubica.

  2. Lewis needs to be grateful to Kimi that he was cool about the whole episode and that Kimi just patted him on the back. Had Lewis dared to take Schumi out, Schumi would given him a huge "pat" across his face

  3. Kubica wasn't fast enough to win it. The race was either between Hamilton or Kimi.

After Kimi tires settled down, Kimi begin pumping in fast lap and was catching Kubica.

Had the safety car not came out, Kimi has more fuel than Hamilton and Kubica. And Kimi also have the pace to put in fast lap when it matters most.

Both Hamilton and Kubica would pit first. Hamilton is fast enough to pull a gap to further challenge Kimi, but Kubica would be passed by kimi during the first round of stop and the race will be between Hamilton or Kimi

the BMW is fast, but still not fast enough to challenge the Ferrari and McLaren.

Without Kimi and Lewis, and the 2nd car of both McLaren and Ferrari is way behind, Kubica is the next best car, faster than anyone else

So it was an easy win for Kubica.

Notice how Kimi fastest lap record was never broken

  4. He doesn't. That's why they have races, to see who can drive the best and take advantage of whatever opportunities present themselves. Do you think if that little fairy Hamilton had won and Kubica had been the one crashed out anybody would ask the same question? I doubt it. And Kubica still had to drive like a winner and pass the race leader (his teammate) on the track in order to win even after the wreck. So he deserved it fair and square, and Hamilton is his typical bonehead self.

  5. It would've been better if Kimi adn Hamilton weren't out of the race. I don't think anyone needs to be grateful to Hamilton. Kimi won't definitely. Kubica did his best and was rewarded with a win. If he hadn't been as fast as them, he'd be fighting in mid-field instead.

It'd be better if Kubica were racing Kimi and Hamilton and he still won. Hopefully, the next time Kubica wins, it's with all the frontrunners in it. I think that victory would be more meaningful.

  6. IMO he doesn't. Lewis made a big mistake, but hey, how do we know that Robert wouldn't have beaten him?

Kubica winning a race has been on the cards for a long time. Nobody should try to take that away from him, it was a race well won
