Why Limewire acts weired?

When I start my limewire my rest of the computer goes dead and slow speed is also a problem can any one help me?

Limewire can take a lot of room on your computer and slow it down. It is also easy to get a virus if your not protects (FYI nortan anti-virus sucks)

Limewire uses a lot of your CPU process and Memory allocation to startup. Its built on Java and takes so long so it can load, configure and connect to your p2p network. As everyone has said use torrent software (i.e. www.utorrent.com) its a small file and its a great bit of software. Use it along with torrent sites such as www.btjunkie.org.

P2P turns your computer into a pirate's network machine, spam sender, virus distributer, etc etc. Only a fool opens the gate to those things. Do you realise that P2P bypasses your firewall?
