  1. Because he want's his side to win as every captain want's for his team.

  2. it was not very sporting of DHONI to do that

  3. i dont think he cheated , he was not sure about it

  4. I don't think Dhoni did anything wrong.he is an awesome cricketer.

  5. Australians Please don't cry as Your team has greatest cheaters in history of the game.It was not wrong of Dhoni as he appealed like every cricketer will do and third umpire gave him out unlike ponting who becomes fourth umpire and raises his finger.

  6. He didn't cheat. Umpire watches everything.

  7. He has not cheat it was also not a strong appeal MS Dhoni was also dissapointed when he hit the bails but it was umpire who called the third umpire

  8. Basically Dhoni is not a good man.

  9. well if u go by verdict of pakistanis commentrators , they supported srilankans all the way thru this match .

as far as dhoni is concerned u can saw from his face that he is frustrated because he does not hit the ball in first attempt ,

not because he missed it ,

third also gives decision in favour of dhoni ,

dhoni is honest player , he generally walks when he knick one ,

in this case i like sangakara too.

  10. Dhoni wasn't sure enough so he didn't appeal enthusiastically.

He looked at the square leg umpire and the umpire decided to ask for a replay.

The third umpire made a mistake in ruling the decision in favor of the Indians.

The batsman was indeed not out.

But does that make Dhoni a cheat???

Why do u need to be so prejudiced about Dhoni??

He is a gr8 sportsman and he hasn't hurt the spirit of Cricket in anyway.

It was the umpire's blunder that the batsman was given out.

  11. There is no doubt that Dhoni did cheat. I don't know why he did

  12. What?? An indian has cheated?

My god, what will ashish bhatia have to say about this?

I thought it was only opposition players that could be accused of cheating.

Seems you indians aren't as pious as you'd all like to think, eh?

  13. I do not think it was very clear from the replay that the ball had dropped before the bails were off. I am sure even Dhoni was not sure.  The third umpire should have made sure. If he had any doubts on that score the benifit should have been given to the batsman.  However, he ruled him out: this means he was sure the ball was still in Dhoni's gloves.  Sometimes commentators go beyond themselves. I am not saying this because Dhoni is an Indian player.

  14. Well, it was the 3rd umpire who made the decision and not Dhoni! So how can he cheat???? It was the umpire's decision and moreover Dhoni didn't appeal after he stumped bcoz he wasn't sure about it!

  15. Well, it was the 3rd umpire who made the decision and not Dhoni!

  16. I would say that he was not sure about that decision and there was also a late reaction from the umpire but if would not be out then also he would not be able to take the score moe than 314& that's all . . . . .

  17. i THINK ITS 3RD UMPIRE MISTAKE AND Dhoni is not a good man.
