The soft rebellion against repression in MK Gandhi sprouted in South Africa to finally get India political freedom.  This can be very easily forgotten in the fast developing world.  But the political descendants of MK Gandhi, now masquerading as Gandhis in the Indian National Congress, openly led by manmohansingh but remote-controlled ny italian sonia are selling India's freedom to bring in slavery to US, by way of Nuke deal etc.,.So, this contrast in action of bringing freedom and selling the same by persons having the same tag 'Gandhi', makes Mahatma Gandhi to represent a positive impact on Indians.
