Why McDonald's Filet buns are steam but not toast?

  1. I worked at McDonald's for 2 years and never really thought about that.  I suppose that if the bun was toasted it would take away from the crispyness of the fish.  However if you would prefer it to be toasted and not steamed just make that request when you order your food.


  2. most of the employees like to rush when they make the food so they can get towards other customers, so some of them don't cook certain foods all the way.

  3. I've always wondered why the use a different type of bun for the FoF.

  4. The fish has a more delicate texture, if they toasted the buns, the crispness of the bun would make the fish feel like mush in your mouth.
