Why Must Christians Be First To Judge Right & Wrong?

Just seems that everytime a topic of interest comes up, the Christian is the first to give their input and when everyone else has a say they feel bad to do so because the Christian might get mad and not be open to others opinions.

This happens to me every holiday.

Your question sounds very judgemental to me.

Don't make the mistake of lumping all Christians, or all of any other group, into one pile.  We're all different.

People who believe something deeply - especially something as important as your eternity - get loud and upset out of frustration and love really - it is just very difficult to do what we are called to do as Christians - which we often go about very poorly - of spreading God's love - being his hands and feet.

Don't worry about people judging you - that's not their job whether Christian or otherwise. Hebrews 12:23  God is the judge of all.We should not judge and by the measure that we judge we will be judged. [Matthew 7:1] Those who judge and criticize you will be judged too.

God judges according to different rules than people who go by what they see and hear but God knows what really motivates us. 1 Samuel 16:7

Also remember that not all who call themselves christians are in fact followers of Christ. He said that at the end of time there will be people who will say that they did things in His name and the response will be "I don't know you". Matthew 25: 41-46

Perhaps they just have nothing better to do.  They frown upon change because the only book they ever read was the bible.

As a Christian I am not the one doing the judging.  For example, when I say that abortion is wrong it is because the Lord has revealed it in the Bible that murder is wrong.  And I do believe that there are Christians out there who are judgemental, but we are all sinners.  You might want to point out to that Christian that they are not being very Christ like by being judgemental.

Cause while they can claim that they read their word of god book, they can't seem to comprehend it.  Especially that judge no lest ye be judged part.  They think it means if your christian, judge all you want; you're perfect so you have every right to.
