Why NBC won't show any real live Olympic event i the Westcoast? ?

Is not live, but they still has that mislead big Live icon in the right of the screen, since the got 3 hours delay, they should a least remove it, is c**p that all event is not live even like big one like men basketball.

it's definitely decieving to the huge "live" symbol.  i agree they should remove it or maybe put "previously recorded.  if you want to watch the olympics live, you can either watch CBC (canada) or go online.

I don't know, it crazy!  I read something that said ...more people would be able to view it at the later time...so like a larger audience.

But I don't know it doesn't make sense, if most of the events aren't even starting till 10:30-11pm then running through 1am on the east coast...then showing them at 7:30-8 on the west coast would be perfect in my opinion.

I live on the East Coast, so I've been able to see everything live...but I would be really mad if I lived on the west coast.

There was the rumor about at least showing Phelps race for the 8th medal might be shown live ....

NBC spokesman commented:

"It will not be shown live on the West Coast. This is a baseless rumor and I don't know the genesis of it.

The situation will remain the same as it has for all of our prime-time broadcasts. The reason that we're showing this in the normal prime-time patterns on the West Coast is because this is when the majority of people are available to watch."
