Just after the Jaipur Blast ,Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray put a dampener on the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders by demanding that no Pakistani player should be permitted to play in the league. It's not new- that ShibSena atack cricket , @1999 ShibSena dug Firoz Shah Kotla Stadium. It's simply politics ( wrose than wrost kind of politics). If he(Uddhav) has a problem with Pakistani player, then Why Now? More Pakistani player in IPL not represent Pakistan , but individuals, infact Akhtar ban by PCB , but now play in IPL.

  1. well i don't play cricket ...and hardly understand your question but..............i agree with the first answer u got Cricket can have a lot of effect on the country's................

  2. Politicians are like "the ants that always look for sugar". Cricket is a sugar for politicians - mass attention, money, and so on. As soon as popular demand catches up for a sport, you will have politicians in and around it. This is almost unavoidable!

As far as a ban on Pakistani players is concerned, it will not have the desired effect of stopping Pakistani Army support to terrorists. Even Pakistan's suspension from Commonwealth did not have any desired effect, so the ban will only cause a personal loss to a cricketer, nothing more.

History shows that the big, political powers of the world need terrorist nations all the time. This helps them create an artificial enemy to fight against and divert attention, make money out of arms trade, etc. Do not expect terrorist activities to stop. These will continue.

Largely, the people are seeing terrorists that harm using weapons. We are not able to see and start fight againsts the "economic terrorists" who create artificial shortages of food, and oil, only to increase the oil price and cause livelihood burden on millions of people around the world.

  3. Because politicians cant keep themselves away from anything lucrative

  4. Politics is always been present in Indian and Pakistan cricket

    - mostly related to the selection of the team and grounds.

But bringing external politics that are not related to the sport

is a shame to all those who wants to utilize cricket as the

pedestal for their political gains. Whether it is Shivsena or

HuJI or LeT or who ever it may be.....All such idiots need are

traitors and are not passionate about their country or sport.

Such people or groups are traitors and need to ignored or

    dumped in the ocean.

The other problem is the sport itself - These days cricket is

being made as a revenue management tool to sell their own.

I think this may be the future of the game controlled by bigwigs who own the teams. Eventually we will see similar to

soccer - where in only international teams prepare for WC.

  5. Cricket has been a big problem, it has caused misunderstandings between countries, and now some countries disloyal each other because of this sport. Indians and Banglis are always fighting over cricket, i even have an Indian and Bangli friend, i consistently have to stop them from fighting. Since India and Austrailia are almost equal in cricket, they also fight a lot. Indian's think they are the best, and Bangli's think they are the best.
