His father was black, his mother, white. He is a half-breed. Isn't it strange though, that people are saying that if he wins he will be the first black president of the USA...shouldn't that be 'first half-breed president'?

He has a white mother and a black father. Both of his parents have tragically died in the past.

But people still call Obama black because of his skin colour.

If he was white then the race card would never have been brought up in the first place.
