Because its American dfootball. Other countries have their own sports too like AFL in Australia. America doesnt really join in tht much with some world sports. They have their own. They dont play cricket or rugby like most of the world. So I guess They would rather keep it national.

They play 11 man in Europe, 12 man in Canada and in Australia we play 11 man but it isn't a pro league.
