I take it you are wanting to game?

If so, Laptops suck for gaming unless you spend $2500.

For a gaming PC, you will want something with at least 3gigs of Ram and a minimum of a Duel Core Processor. As well as a really good Graphics card.

Def. don't go for the Playstation 2. They are played out.

For your money, if you are wanting to game. Get a 360.

For $300 you get a sweet gaming console and don't have to drop $1200 for the equivelant for a computer to game on.

Just my opinion though.
